Hi, mcheryl,
Just to clarify, are you only able to control your WeMo mini's when you're connected to your home Wi-Fi? What is the current version of your handhelds OS? For isolation, try to disable remote access then enable it again. Make sure that the firmware of the devices is up to date.

Hi, yes, I can only connect to my mini plugs to my home Wi-Fi. My phone has iOS 11.4. I did try to disable and reenable remote access, but I still can only connec to my minis via my home Wi-Fi. I did not get any firmware update request on my WEMO app, so I think I am at the latest firmware. Thanks.

Can you also try observing it on a different handheld device if they still appear as not detected? You can try restarting your phone first then reopen the App.

Unfortunately, I don't have another handheld device to try it. I restart my phone every day and my minis are ony detectable when I connect to my Home Wi-Fi.

If the same thing happens, email us following the advice of PamelaBianca_M above.

I too am unable to access my Wemo devices through remote access. No problem as long as I'm at home and on the same Wifi as the devices, but nothing is detected when I try to use the app on my iPhone with cellular data. Worked great until about a month or two ago. New router as well, but I even switched back to the old router to see if that fixed the issue, but nothing. I've rebooted everything, deleted and reinstalled the app and still nothing. Very frustrated. Please help!!!

Hey hlg8n8800, you mentioned you've switched routers. During that period of time, did you setup your Wemo devices to recognize that new router? If so, when you get back to use the older router, did you set it back to the previous router's configurations? This may be causing your Wemo devices to act as such, as the devices may be confused on which configurations to follow and which signal should they connect to.
Please confirm that you've set them all up to connect to the current router for us to isolate the issue.

I have installed a WeMo switch at home.
It works well with the WIFI LAN, but not out of the LAN.
When I am out of the LAN the WeMo switch appears as a available devices list, but if I switch ON (or OFF) nothing happens.
No clue for what to do. Already reset de the switch reinstall the Wemo App on my android.
