The previous WEMO app works on my Dell Venue 7", model 3730 (2013 version) but not the Dell Venue 7", model 3740 (2014 version). The Dell system firmware is v 4.4.4. I'd get an error message on Google Play Store or Amazon App Store stating the app is not compatible with my device. Has anyone else have this problem and/or know a work around? Thanks.

Dell 3740 runs on Android 4.4.4 and the latest WeMo android app does not work on it. Dell 3730 runs on Android 4.2 and WeMo is compatible and IOS works fine. I talked to Dell and they said this is a known WeMo issue and they suggested I switch to the dlink product instead and I may just give it a try.
