I installed my first dimmer to test. I had it connected and working through the app on my iphone while it was updated.
The dimmer switch is now flashing red and my app didn't recognize the dimmer.
I deleted the app on my phone and reinstalled it.
During the start up process I cannot see the dimmer on wifi.
I have rebooted my wifi and it cannot see it.
I have tried to reset based on instructions in this forum and the dimmer will not reset.
I am looking for help.

I reset the breaker at the panel and it was white for a brief time. The dimmer was discoverable and then went back to flashing red and no longer discoverable.
Clearly the firmware update broke something.

I called the tech support line at Wemo. Worked with them to reset to factory, reset the breaker and was able to connect. Their tech support line is worth the call.

Can you give a little more detail here, did you update the firmware when you installed or after? I ask because I cannot see my dimmers in the app and have no ability to do that.

what did they have you do that was different? I can't call tech support and flip the breaker- my phone works through my gig fiber connection on the same circuit. Already tried just power cycling the circuit.
Looking for that little bit of info we haven't seen so far.
