I'm in the same boat, except that I just purchased my switches and was *never* able to get them to connect to my wifi network. Have been on chat/phone calls for 3 hours.  Eventually Brian confirmed there is a firmware issue, but didn't explain why he and his colleague nevertheless put me through the gymnastics they knew would not work anyway.  Now, I've been told to wait for an engineer to call me in "24-48 hours." Sheesh!

Are you attempting to connect them to a 2.4Ghz Wifi? They won't work on 5Ghz.    Is the setup device also on the 2.4Ghz Wifi?

Mine was confirmed as firmware as well. Eventually.
