Losing remote connection

I have a wemo light switch set up in a home that is out of state. Everything works perfectly before I leave. A couple of days after getting back home, the connection is grayed out. Three times I have had to travel back to the other home, set everything up again and then the same thing happens again a few days later.

Check if your Wemo light switch's firmware is updated. Are there other devices that lose connection to the network on that specific location? If so, try to refresh the Wi-Fi connection on your mobile device as well as the Wemo App by force closing it. Also, try to use another handheld device or refer on the steps provided in this link for other workarounds when the Remote Access is down.
