Check if your Wemo light switch's firmware is updated. Are there other devices that lose connection to the network on that specific location? If so, try to refresh the Wi-Fi connection on your mobile device as well as the Wemo App by force closing it. Also, try to use another handheld device or refer on the steps provided in this link for other workarounds when the Remote Access is down.
