I noticed several weeks ago that when away from home and I open the wemo app on my phone my wemo mini is grayed out and says not detected. I also have 11 light switches and an older fullsize wemo plug and they show up fine via cellular. I've removed and reinstalled the app on my phone, reset the plug and reinstalled and tried it with my wife's phone and the same problem, when wifi is turned off the mini is not detetced.

Can you tell us the LED status of the wemo mini? Also, you may try disabling and enabling the remote access feature of the wemo app. Let's see if it'll make any difference.
