Switch generating heat

Just installed a wall switch and it seems to be generating heat. It is reading 90-95 degrees while the standard switches and wall around it are at 72 degrees. Is this type of heat normal? I read before that the Wi-Fi chip does heat up, but a 20 degree heat increase is concerning.

Before I rip the switches out of the wall to investigate, has anyone else had this issue?

Hello axeman007

Yes, the level of heat you are experiencing is quite normal (assuming Farenheit!). All appliances dissipate a small amount of power even when idle, not just WeMos. WeMos consume about 1 watt of power all the time.
