My Wemo dimmer keeps flashing a red light. When I check the Wemo app it shows that the Wemo Dimmer uograde failed. I can not figure out how to force or get the dimmer switch t upgrade. Can someone help?

Hi, snk6672. Try to reboot your Dimmer, force close the Wemo app (make sure that it is not running in the background) and relaunch it afterwards. Check if you're still getting the pop up message to update the firmware of your Wemo device. By the way, to reboot the Wemo Dimmer, turn OFF the connected bulb, then press and hold the LED bar for 2 to 5 seconds. Release the button when the LED bar illuminated white.

We understand where you're coming from. Just to verify, is this frequently happening? Have you tried to force close the app and all running apps? If so, if the issue recur even after that, you can try to uninstall and reinstall the Wemo app. BTW, were you able to encounter an error message upon it disconnection?
