Re: Wemo Dimmer won't turn off -- manually or with app

So glad I found this post.  Ever since I purchased a Wemo dimmer I’ve been experiencing some the same issues.  My 2 light switches are flawless but the dimmer seems to have been engineered by an entirely different company. I would send this junk back in a minute if I could.  I expected way better for the price.

Same problem.
Wemo products are junk and reading there support replies it’s obvious it’s junk to.
All this thread has is 5 pages of literary stupidity. Support just keeps replying with very uneducated solutions. If that person is being paid I’d fire them!

Re: Wemo Dimmer won't turn off -- manually or with app

Me, too. This dimmer has worked fine for months, so I know it’s wired correctly.

I replaced my router but set up the new one with the same SSID and password and everything else in the house just worked automatically. But the dimmer worked for a day (though ALEXA didn’t recognize it as a dimmer and wouldn’t let me do anything but turn it on/off). So I re-added it to the Alexa app and reset the WiFi on the switch. Now it’s stuck on. No voice control through Alexa, the switch itself doesn’t do anything, and the (which I’ve reinstalled on my up-to-date iPhone XS twice) crashes immediately if I tap the light. So while I believe the firmware is up to date, I can’t check it.

When I press the LED bar to reset it, it cascades from top to bottom three times, then goes back to just the bottom LED and the power button being lit.

Throwing the breaker fixes it for 15 minutes to 2 hours and is not a working solution. Has anyone contacted support and round a resolution?
