I do hear the physical switch go on and off when I try to turn off the switch either directly or by app.
the power just does not turn off. would you still class this a broken?

Did you recently run through this challenge? Are these Insights running on the latest firmware? Make sure that your devices are on its latest versions.

After doing a bit of trouble shooting. I discovered something that has work rock solid for me so far. I used DHCP Reservation but with a twist. I change the range of the ip's assigned by my Linksys router. So the ip assigned started from .50 for example. I gave all my twenty devices lights and smart plugs an ip from 192.168.1.51 to 71. for example. I had done a factory reset of all my devices however I used the wemo app which made it a little easier. A little side note: Make sure you're on the 2.4GHz as all these devices uses the 2.4GHz. I have a bridge connection in my home so I'm using three routers. I would disconnect from my router and then connect back really quickly so I was connected to the same router that the device would connect to. Once all my devices were setup I change the range of my router now to start assigning ip's from 100 onwards so 192.168.1.100 - 199 or more. The key is that all your devices are now before the starting routers ip range. I clean up my network map so by disconnecting from all the devices in my network then restarting the router. All my devices were now showing individual icons with one mac address and the ip assigned. Hope that helps others and it's not too confusing to follow. Cheers!!
