The latest iOS WEMO app does NOT function properly under iOS 8.
When you try to change the on or off time for a rule, the "Set Time" function does not respond at all.
Please provide an updated iOS app ASAP!
Hey wvwalt! Have you tried to force close the App or re-install it? In most cases, that fixes any challenges you might encounter with any App.
Having a terrible time with the app and iOS 8. As OP stated, can't add/edit rules and experiencing frequent disconnects.
Re-installing the latest WeMo app version could be of help. iOS 8 is quite new so re-installing the WeMo app will help sync the app. Call Belkin Support if nothing works.
When I select rules, the app closes. I am using iOS8.2 and WeMo app version 1.9
-Uninstall and re-install the App on your iOS 8.2 device
-Try launching the WeMo app 1.9 while connected to another network or 3G or 4G
-Use the WeMo App 1.9 on other iOS 8.2 devices
i have seen this same thing happen in earlier versions of Wemo app too. We really need a better quality app with true support for iPad. I fail to understand how it can be so hard to come up with a working iPad app.
