No need for long press

by Wemoisgreat on ‎01-21-2019 09:52 AM
Hi,

May I suggest that instead of user needing to do a long press every time one wants to open or close or toggle all the switches in the room, instead user should be able to specify that a regular press should do that, so we’re not bothered by a long press every time we enter or exit the room.

Wonder what you think.

Thank you very much.

I too am very interested in a 3way switch. I have four 3way switches I would love to have replaced in my house using the WEMO switches.  https://ovo.fyi/tubegalore/

I know this might be asking a little much, but how about a 3way Dimmer switch as well. Because I have another two switches which are a 3way dimmer for my hall way and I would like to replace them also. https://ovo.fyi/youjizz/

Any idea if these products are even being considered or on the drawing board? https://ovo.fyi/pornhub/

YES!

It would be great to have the ability to set "Long Press" behavior as the default.    When Switch A is On, Outlet (or other device) is On.  When Switch A is Off, linked device(s) are Off.

Also, if Switch on linked device is turned off via its switch, the status of Switch A is set to Off, as well.

I tried using IFTTT to do this, but it takes WAY too long to activate the linked device.  Anywhere from 15 seconds to a couple of minutes.
